The thrown of Allah is supported by giant snake and revelations descend upon earth via chains.

Ibn Umar is reported to have said that a giant snake holds up the Throne of Allah, and that revelation comes down to the earth by way of chains.
Al-Albani commented that this report has a good (hasan) chain. He added that Ibn Hajar mentioned it in al-Isabah, in the biography of al-Bakali, noting that he had narrated it in his work al-Bushriyat.
