Al-Mufaddal ibn Umar said: I asked Imam al-Sadiq (a.s.) about the statement of the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.w.) concerning Fatimah (a.s.), that she is the Mistress of the Women of the Worlds: “Is she the mistress of the women of her own world?”
He replied:
“That was Maryam; she was the mistress of the women of her world. Fatimah is the Mistress of the Women of all the worlds, from the first to the last.”
حدثنا أحمد بن زياد بن جعفر الهمداني رحمه الله قال: حدثنا علي بن إبراهيم بن هاشم، عن أبيه، عن محمد بن سنان، عن المفضل بن عمر قال: قلت لأبي عبد الله عليه السلام: أخبرني عن قول رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله في فاطمة: أنها سيدة نساء العالمين، أهي سيدة نساء عالمها؟ فقال: ذاك لمريم، كانت سيدة نساء عالمها، وفاطمة سيدة نساء العالمين من الأولين والآخرين.
