Prophet Adam Sought Allah Through the Ahl al-Bayt

The Prophet ﷺ was asked about the words Adam received from his Lord by which Allah accepted his repentance. He said: “Adam asked Him: By the right of Muhammad, Ali, Fatima, Hasan and Husayn, accept my repentance. So Allah accepted his repentance.”
سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ عَنِ الْكَلِمَاتِ الَّتِي تَلَقَّاهَا آدَمُ مِنْ رَبِّهِ فَتَابَ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ: «سَأَلَهُ: بِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلِيٍّ وَفَاطِمَةَ وَالْحَسَنِ وَالْحُسَيْنِ إِلَّا تُبْتَ عَلَيَّ، فَتَابَ عَلَيْهِ».
